This is my first time post but have been following this forum for a long time now. I have just finished my project from the summer. Its a 76 cb750 supersport. Well anyways heres my problem. I have had my head port and polished and decked, I cleaned the carbs and installed a new carb kit(factory honda), got new coils, new points plate(includes all new points and condensers and new wiring), adjusted all the value spacing, timing is correct and points gap is correct, I installed pod filters and replaced the main jet with a bigger main jet(don't exactly remember what size) to compensate for the pod filters, had the carbs bench synced and the bike still misfires kind of. It used to misfire and backfire when just at idle and then i adjusted the pilot screw and it helped the idle issue. But now at constant throttle(at around 3500 to 500O rpm) the #2 cylinder sputters and. Under full throttle on the other hand the bike responds perfectly. Also when in neutral and at idle when i blip the throttle its slow to respond but after it hits 2500 rpm it accelerates fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
