How to drill a square hole.

I know over the years I've drilled som out of round holes, but didn't realise it was possible to drill a square hole.  :o

That's actually pretty cool!  Although I will say whoever designed that bit had to much time on their hands.

It's actually twice as impressive since the milling head is also moving in an eccentric pattern in time with the bit.

Watching the slo-mo I was reminded of how the head on my wife's stand mixer moves independently so the paddle reaches the edge of the bowl on all sides even though the paddle is much smaller than the bowl.
