Just a sidenote, you can't hang out with us at the pits if you ride a modern 600cc  ::)
Dragbike Team D-Cut is too well known for riding old sh1t, so even our "friends" have to keep up the image  ;D

There's nothing like a good slider clutch for short wheelbases and good traction.  ;)

I'd prefer painting it Kwack green with blue and white stripes but I'm not sure if Jere agrees.

Juha,
Take a look here for the GSXR parts your mate needs.

Let me know if this is what he's looking for and if i can help in some way.

Fitting the GSX-R 750W swingarm was easier than I expected, thanks to two factories either working together or copying each other  ;D

Now I have proof  ;)

I measured the wheelbase today, 1500mm as it is now, a bit less when lowered for drag racing, 1500mm is the limit in Streetbike-class  ;)

I thought I could use the stock Kawasaki suspension hardware but no.
Luckily I have some GSX-R parts laying around and the puzzle called "J's Garage-Kawasaki" goes on after some machining and a few beers 8)

Good work there Juha. Wow, they limit your wheelbase in street ET ?? Should make for some interesting passing on a short wheel base bike with lots of power.

Yeah, 1500mm is the maximum wheelbase unless bike is longer as stock.
My Suzuki for example is limited to 1510mm, that and 1327cc engine makes riding the contraption interesting, you are right about that Frank  ;D

What are the wheels and sizes Juha.?
VFR 800 3½" x 17" and ex-Mike Rieck CBR 900 rim, 5½" x 17".He used it as a doorstop or something  ::)

They are going on hold for the first season though, need custom made oversize brake discs etc. to complete the build up to the standard I have decided it to be, so when Sam races the bike it's gonna have stock ZX-9R front rim and GSX-R 750W rear rim.
Sizes are as above though.

 Juha

My brother stopped by yesterday and he was very happy with the rebuild so far.
Well, he better be as he ain't paying me and worst of all didn't even bring any beer... no fuel for the builder and that's extremely impolite  ::)
