Took the time to balance my new pistons today, plenty of engine work next week  ::)

JMR-Suzuki engine going back together with new high compression pistons and new intake cam, Sam's ride is being worked on also. Bring the pistons home safe and experience low 11's mate ;)

New pistons arrived yesterday, thank you Jim and Sam!
If I wasn't so damn busy working on other peoples bikes something might actually happen  ::) ::)
Well, it means money to buy nice things  8)

I'm interested in seeing what they come up with.

Thanks! I really hope this bike turns out right.

I removed the stock cylinder studs from the engine case yesterday, cleaned everything up and repainted the cases today with VHT satin black.
Monday it's time to install the APE HD studs to both ends of the engine  ;)

I had nothing better to do today so I installed APE cylinder and bottom end studs and did a little work on my own racebike as well... after that I started my racebike, took it outside to check it doesn't leak oil etc. etc., turned around to close the door and suddenly a strong wind hit my bike and it fell over. Over 200kg's of Suzuki damages a lot of #$%* even when it falls down on it's own.  Front fender, fuel tank, exhaust, handlebars, brake lever etc.

I hope I get everything fixed before the next race, 23 entrants including one Sampson Green  ::)

You are racing in the novice class  ;D ;D

Some dents, bent handlebars, a few bits and pieces had to be changed but I think the bike is raceready soon.

I'm running out of time with the Kawasaki, if I can't finish it in time, would you mind racing a 1135cc Suzuki?  ::)

Still working to get the Kawasaki... well, not actually finished but race-ready.To be honest it seems Sam will be racing my street-GS, the very same bike that got me in to this mess called drag racing or the quite well tuned race-winning HD Nightrod  ::)
Either way, low 11's coming.

Mike already said it's OK by him. I also have a 1230cc Suzuki for you as an option. CE standard back protector is the one you need, are you able to squeeze under your leathers?  ::)

Flag pole is something I'll take care of next week  ;)

That Harley runs 11.0's and the 1230 Suzuki 11.3's.
If I get my streetbike done in time, it can do 10.8's.
I don't think I can afford to buy all the stuff still needed for the GPz  :'(
My brother is one of the slowest paying customers I've ever met.

Let's go with the Hog, it'll take the presure of you to get things done.
Tell Mike thanks, I take it he is your boss.
The back protector will go inside my leathers but they won't zip up, someone is to fat ;D ;D ;D I'll work on it. ;)

Nightrod is waiting for you, I'll change the oil etc. later this week and put your racenumbers on it.
Sorry about the Kawasaki delay, though I'm pretty sure the Harley is quicker and I know for a fact it's a fun bike to ride.
Kawasaki or my Suzuki next time ;)

Thanks Juha, it will make a change from the auto.
I've lost 5 lbs since Friday. I weighed myself this morning and am 158 lb, there's no way I'll wear the back protector outside my leathers. ;D ;D ;D ;D
I've cut out carbs, beer and car, been to work on my bike for the last two days, legs burning and sore bum. ;D ;D ;D ;D

It's a tough bike to beat in a race, I've experienced it in the past  ::)
Long, low, quite powerful and extremely consistent.
You are really working hard to make this happen  ;D
