I forgot to mention this project is on hold for the next two weeks as my very good old friend / machinist and his wife had a baby boy yesterday  ;D

Some TLC and the new rearshock fits, it came of a Kawasaki Z750 with only 7000km on it. My TLC included some sparks and beating  ;D

As this is the "Other bikes" forum, this is one of the other bikes I'm working on.
My new teammates Suzuki I'm turning into a bracket racer for the 2012 season.

Even though the GPz will be only 810cc, it has a bit of Mike's magic and I'm sure Sam will hit the 10 second mark  8)
If not, I'll let him ride my Suzuki.... It'll do 10.9's on idle  ;D ;D

That shock install looks like a TIGHT fit..did it require complete dis-assembly ?

Full size bikelift is a bit overkill for a 80cc junior dragbike  ::)

The entire rear suspension assembly..but I guess that was a given anyway;I never did one of those.
That lift is Great, is it a Western ?

This build required quite a lot of fitting together stuff that don't fit together  ;D
All the suspension assembly parts came from different bikes so yes, it was disassembled and rebuilt number of times.

I picked up engine cases for the GPz project today. Old one's were missing pieces here and there so I decided to find something in better shape.
New Wiseco pistons also on their way, by Jim and Sam, engine build pics coming soon...
