Any saftey switches?

Ive got a 74 cb750. I cant get the starter engine running or any spark. Do you need to have the switches On the bars connected? Is there like a brake or clutch saftey switch?

Not sure with that year, but my '76 needs the clutch pulled in to start.

Joper, howdy!
The answer to both your questions is pretty much yes, unless you jumper/bypass everything.

It has a wiring diagram.
There are some color wiring diagrams available too with a little forum/Google searching.

Thank tou! Well ive got a spark now. But cant get the starter running. How do you jumpstart that? Cant get it out on the scheme.
