CB Mystery Rider in Stone Mountain GA
« on: December 04, 2011, 07:04:48 AM »
Who was Dat?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to know who the rider was riding  a black cafe CB on Friday December 2, on Sheppard Road. I was driving my school bus on my way to pick up my next load, so a quick turn around to chase you down wasn't possible. If you're out here, let's go for ride one of these days!

Why does this sound like some sort of missed hook-up on Craigslist ;)

Wasn't me...... ! ( Hi Vern ! ).

Hello Spanner, I hope you're doing well.   My bike should be back on the road this week, the Pamco that my mech installed last week had a glitch on it, so he couldn't set the timing. Pamcopete is a class act, responded to my email about it and spoke to my mech to trouble shoot it. He's putting a replacement in the mail to me. try getting that kind of service from Dyna, fat chance!

Wasn't me either! ;)  I haven't had my bike out in a few weeks. :'(  I'm actually waiting on a new tank to get here, a very cool forum member hooked me up.  As soon as it gets here I'm gonna clean it, do the required filler work and get painted as quickly as I can.  Glad to hear you'll be back on the road soon!!  We gotta ride again some time.

Travis you are so right,it's been way to long for me not to be riding Pandora. That's great you're getting a tank that won't give you so much trouble. We'll be on the road soon!

Several months ago bb after working a half day on Saturday I was heading home on Interstate 85 North not on one of my CB's but in my truck. I glanced over in the south bound lanes and saw a CB750 hauling a$$ . I would say it was a 1973 or 74. There was no way I could turn around and follow him and before I knew it he was out of sight. It was a thrill to see another Sohc4 on the road. I posted info on this forum about the sighting hoping the a$$ hauling CB might check into this forum and see my message, but to my knowledge no reply was ever posted. So who knows who he was or where he was going.

Yeah, it's always cool to see one of our bikes hauling ass, maybe I'll  meet that rider one of these days. At least I have a general idea of where to start looking for him. Stay tuned
