This Vincent is a bit sad to see with the damage, but I'm sure that in view of its value it will be rebuilt

Is it a 49 or 51? Either way, it took a long time to die, hope it comes back to life soon, still beautiful.

Yep, it is sad, it must have been a very special bike before the crash, but many enthusiasts would rather have these iconic bikes out on the road, and so there's always a risk that a crash might occur. Good thing is that while genuine spares are rare and expensive, the aftermarket industry and specialist repairers for Vincents is alive and well, so I've no doubt that this one will be returning to it's former glory soon. Cheers, Terry.

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.
So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
