77 K mdel Frame
« on: May 19, 2006, 10:09:19 AM »
Hey Gents,

I have a 1977 Frame for a K model Build date 6/76.

It has a different forward upper engine mount point. Seems to be missing the welded on lug that attatches to the left front of the engine. Instead incorporating a plate like the right front.

Is there any one out there that can snap a picture of thier left front engine mounting point so I can see how and if spacers are required on the 77?

Thanks.

Hope this helps ya. On mine it is the same as the plate in the pic for the left side (the case guard covers it but is the same) mine is not welded on but bolted on. One plate left side and mounted on the out side of frame. Right side two same plates one inside and one outside of the frame.
Not sure what month and year of the bike but it is a 1977 model cb750k. Good luck

Thanks huntman58,

Are there any spacers on those mounts (right or left)? or does the bolt attatching the motor to the plate just go into the cases?
