Good Job Blue..........Sooner or later the right stuff will appear.......is the seller a lurker on this site?..........now to measure the tubes........and get ready to pay the market price?

Could the Sorcerer bars be mounted upside down in a standard tree with a 1-inch drop?

Ooo..  I'm sure we already have the club but I'm more wondering if we could get a sohc4 patch on the arm of his race suit.  :o

I was more thinking we sponsor the front end and he puts our site badge on his race suit. ;)
We don't have to do this exact part, but from what I understand from his posts is: the sponsorship will not include everything he needs. All I'm saying is it be pretty cool to help with this restore!

I THINK I HAVE FOUND THE FORKS !!!    :o    Please tell me they are the correct ones.    ???

   http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ceriani-GP-Road-Race-Forks-35mm-complete-/180822167612?hash=item2a19d7503c&item=180822167612&pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr

This is the correct front end.  I compared these to the picture on page 7 and they are exactly alike !
Now i just need to find who's bidding on them and kidnap them till the auction is over !  WOOOHA HA !

I'm liking those a lot.... complete with the correct rise on the handlebar mount. If the tubes come up short...what do you guys think...Are the legs and clamps worth it...I have  to if this guy can help on description...like in break out his tape measure...lol

JR,  I myself would go for it.  I have been looking for alot of hours and these seem to be a really great front end setup.  But like i said earlier it's all up to you.  Most of the fork legs i come across are in fair condition and have no tripple trees and are the not the gp style setup.   ;)   I tried the best that i could. Good luck !   :)

I'm bidding on these...they just are not going to get closer.

Thanks...I just went to Ebay under MC accessories and they did not come up so I'm going off your link. Weird computer search issue.

Thanks..these things take time which I have precious little of.

JR, When ever i do a search i just use ebay motors and type in what i'm looking for that way it covers anything that the seller's post.  When you try to narrow it down alot of times you will miss some really good parts.   ;)

Thanks I'm learning....I just found the rear wheel...which I believe is a 15X8 Ansen...(American Racing I think is same) still selling new for about $130. Let me know if any of you think I am misjudging on these parts...collectively you have kept me on the straight and narrow.

I guess PM did not have anything for car tires for motorcycles in 74? That's a pretty hefty wheel by today's standards....of course look what was  turning it! Don't think I'll hurt that Lenco output shaft.

I guess we'll be spinning something up on someones lathe to make a hub.

I have an email into Airheart....that's a pretty big sticker on that tail...looks like good advertising eh?

Tomorrow I find out the damage on the Sorcerer pistons and have a meeting with my chassis sponsor.

I'll keep you all posted. I'm pretty sure the Triple rebuild will be professionally filmed....maybe starting tomorrow.

Team shirts for everyone that contributes, which reminds me, I need to figure on some sort of T-shirt for this effort. OK....I'm expecting input on this. Of course all sponsors will be covered but what about style, graphics?

Just to be straight with everyone...associate sponsors are in for $2000. I've only got one of those so far but I am grateful, just a hot rod buddy that loves nitro and has a pretty successful construction company. Associate sponsors are automatic VIP at the races and I show for them ( locally of course) ...lol

Dad is nursing his wife back to health after heart surgery so I have not been bothering him....praying more...asking less MC questions. She will be fine and then we will get back to the 1Meg questions.

The shirt idea is awesome. It'd be way-cool for pit-style shirts w/ collars, which cost a bit more but of the major sponsors would want embroidery and they look really professional.
Of course, T-shirts can also be made w/ this idea as  the graphic. Maybe play with colors a bit, say red, white and blue?

I think you'll need to look back over the history, maybe something from the past with retro look or feel. Something that keeps the nostalgia high so to speak.
