I'm glad they decided not to fire it up at this race. There are probably countless other items that need to be completed and rushing for the sake of a show simply isn't practical. With all the nuisances of this nostalgic bike, any little problem could turn into disaster. I'm looking forward to hearing that it's fully completed and test starts a few times before the public debut.
I think everyone will still be thrilled to see this bike on display in person. I've never layed eyes on it so this will be a true treat for me.
