That happens alot on high profile parts.  Snipe bidders come in at the last 5 seconds.  They even have special programs for that $hit !!   >:(

The winning bidder hadn't previously bid, so it seems like he was waiting and nailed the target in the final seconds.
There's always the possibilty that it was friendly fire.
We'll know the outcome soon.

I lost these at he last minute...I thought they got a little pricey so I am going to plan B with a possible private party set....with someone who wants to help.

Bummed but will getrdone. I am thinking no trees no deal ...at least for now.

Now I'll look at your alternatives seen above as I lick my wounds. You know this bid ended when I was in a meeting with the Department of Defense..I was at 1050 and was going to go higher but could not get to a computer.

Thanks...I did bid on the tubes above because they are cherry but will probably get beat on those. i have to figure on the trees too so I can't get stupid with this.

I guess the going rate is 1560 right now...I think I can do better...but if that's the deal , Ill have to bite bullet. It's holding up the beginning of the chassis build.

RCjr.

There are also replica legs and triples available here if it has to go that way.
http://www.motocicliveloci.it/inglese/catalogue/forcelle_uk.htm

Just the lower legs here if something could be built up.
The Buy it Now price is good.

I looked at the full set..wrong top clamp..need bar mounts. In fact if it wasn't for that top clamp..I would have very similar clamps made...they are tough but I know the masters...but that top tree would be too much work. Just got off the phone with just such a person to confirm.

Now Ill look at the knock offs...but I think this deserves the real deal.
