That is a bugga!!!!!!

I was looking at speedway bike suspensions which led to this TT500.
Specifically at Cerianis for AT&SF.

I'll try and contact some of the older guys here in Darwin who use to race Solos back in the 80s and who are sometimes a good resource for contacts and bits and pieces.
It is worth a try.

Something good will come out of this one way or another.

A set here sold in January for approx. $850 US. Not sure if they were in Japan or US but they look to have been good value?

Yea,  I've been searching the flat track race bike websites. I found some complete front ends but they had already been sold.    ::)   Why is it when you don't need anything, the parts are all over the place but when you need them their like hen's teeth, no where to be found !    >:( :(

Ask the boneyard if they can get forx, they just sold 3 flattrackers..

I sent the request and am on their list...I told them I would have paid at least half of the price of that bike and them send me only the forks!

Jr

Now to check my email. Then back here again to check out your leads...every night...we will prevail.

I had some one email me that I could buy that front end new....this is not true...due to the top clamp or I would already own one!

OBTW...the Restoration Sponsor Posters have just been signed by me and are making their way to RCSr and then will be sent directly to you all know who. T shirt design is in the works...will not disappoint.

We we have begun the unthinkable and will "unleash the hounds" .Here on this table, we will bring life back to one of the greatest Honda 750's to have ever been modified (slightly).

And this is the guy that will wield his chassis building expertise on the effort. Randy (MDR) Nelson.

The Brothers Collins..the tall one in back is in "license mode" ....don't worry, we wont let him hurt it!

Sam, I have ordered our rear wheel....once again....thanks.

Keep shopping gentlemen...we are so close!

There is a mile of dirt bikes and associated bits and pieces for sale on this page.
http://vft.org/vftforsale2.html

A couple of photos of bikes with what looks like what we are trying to hunt down from the above page link.
These Cerianis are definately out there although scarce and expensive.
There is even a CB750 finned engine cover for sale as well.  8)

This one is called a Carabela - $2500:00
Not sure if these are Cerianis after looking at the lower section of the leg.

Here is a BSA Trackmaster - $9500:00 (Right out of the question??)

Nice  8)
http://vft.org/ForSaleWanted/11-12-14-MannTriumph/11-12-14-MannTriumph.html

I spoke with a guy this afternoon who still has contact with some of the old dirt and drag racing "heavyweights" from back in the day.
It's just a waiting game now to see if anything surfaces.

He knew exactly what I was talking about and had a big smile on his face when I mentioned "Russ Collins, AT&SF & Sorcerer"

So whatever the outcome may be from this, one thing for certain is that the word will travel far and fast regarding the restoration of these historic icons.

The Carabela is wearing BETOR forks, note the tall rubber caps, and lack of turned down area between fewnder mount and axle area..
The roadrace legs may exist in smaller sizes like 33mm, which is too light. I even saw a set of NOS 28mm roadrace legs a few weeks ago, 2 sets, one with astronomical Buyt it Neverr=.. They were so cool, think they would look killer on a Bicycle.. ;D   ;D.
I know time is getting tight but something will turn up.. somwehere there is a tracker less motor that will be reasonable....they are desireable... and look good...

I have been in touch with Jr, and I am sure those bikes will have APE parts in them when they hit the track.  Also Randy Nelson is a great choice to be in these projects.

Jay...I knew you would come through and I'll be in touch. I've got five fuelers to feed and I need them to be using the right parts.

Thanks in advance,
