That's a good plan. I'm sure the burnout can last 1/4 mile! ;)
Edit: Those bikes must have a rider with Collins written on the leathers to make mission accomplished with the fantastic history of the legend revived, right?
I believe so, seriously. I look forward to see and hear.

PeWe, both Russ and David have Collins in big letters on their leathers, so no problem there mate.

The last I heard from Russ is that the AT&SF Running or not will be at the MAN Cup World Finals at SGMP in South Georgia as will the Sorcerer but news on that one is not 100%.

I'm not sure if this means it will be a runner at Valdosta but I have asked Russ, just waiting on a reply.

The bike won't be fired up at Valdosta, just a static display of the almost finished bike.

Russ tells me that it's the final plumbing that is stopping it from being fired up.

I'm glad they decided not to fire it up at this race. There are probably countless other items that need to be completed and rushing for  the sake of a show simply isn't practical.  With all the nuisances of this nostalgic bike, any little problem could turn into disaster. I'm looking forward to hearing that  it's fully completed and test starts a few times before the public debut.

I think everyone will still be thrilled to see this bike on display in person.  I've never layed eyes on it so this will be a true treat for me.

I totally agree guys, if you go back to the first post in this thread,  yesterday is 8 years to the day since Russ came to us telling us about his plans to resurrect his dad's bikes, another few months won't make a lot of difference to make sure the AT&SF starts up perfectly.

I agree but now I will have to book another return from paradise round trip in April. Gotta be back on tha rock for carnival this coming year and it will be the following week or so!

Plus that will give us enough time to get Sam a round trip also  ;) and for me that will be a great reason to be there  8) For that matter Sam can come to the British Virgin Islands and can return with me.

It looks great. Getting a lot of attention. It still needs the oil plumbing etc hooked up.
