mythbusters uh oh

Apparently, mythbusters lost a cannonball off the gun range at Alameda and it went through a couple houses, off a roof, crossed a 6 lane road and ended on the seat of a minivan. No one was injured. Now I suppose people will want a law against firing a cannon near a residential neighborhood.

I watched a few videos of the retelling yesterday... cannonball went on quite the unexpected excursion.  It went THROUGH houses!

It went through the front door up the stairs and then it made an almost perfect round exit hole.

this is all after initially over shooting the water barrels and bouncing off an earth embankment!

It overshot the target by half a mile.  The homeowner slept through it.
