As the title states: I'm Looking for a good mechanic in Columbia, SC. I recently moved to Columbia and don't know of any good mechanics in the area. Can someone help me out? I need to get my carbs rebuilt.

The Art Bar (http://www.artbarsc.com/index.html) has a euro moto night on Mondays.  Even though it's euro-centric you should be able to get some info about local dealers and mechanics.

Good Luck,

whoever you use bud you may want to secretly mark any parts you need replaced to make sure they do it
they scam a lot down there just cleaning the part up a bit and tell you they changed it my uncle got taken 3 or four times that way down there till I came down and fixed his car and he told me he had all these new parts and not one of them was changed
when you own a motorcycle the wife does not have to find you handy she just has to find you

Yeah, that's right, because everybody down here is a scam artist.  Using your scientific sampling method I could just as easily conclude that nobody in Michigan knows how to use capitalization or punctuation.
