Topic: Need FAQ Posting Photos and Links

           How about putting something in the FAQs on putting a link in your post (i.e. ebay, for example)
      and one on how to post a photo? I. for one am having a problem with both and it doesn't help that I'm not pc literate. I know enough about a pc to accomplish most of what I want or need to.

OK.  I thought there was one but I've just looked and there isn't...

I can do the "posting photos" bit but don't know how to post a link with a label (you know, instead of the 6" long eBay URL you can label the string "eBay item" or similar - I'm sure I've seen someone on here do it)

Okay, I'll play nice. 

To post a link with your own name rather than the actual URL, use this bit of html:

<a href=>"insert url here"insert label here[/url]

Don't forget the quotation marks around the URL.

I wondered whether there would be a wizard on this site but no...

I'm a member of the UK VFR club and they have a wiz little wizard that gives you a "link" box and a "label" box.  Works a treat.
