Indian Junior Scout
« on: December 10, 2011, 04:35:24 PM »
I went over to a friend's house today to see a bike he had built. It is an Indian Junior Scout with a 30.50 cu. in. (500cc) engine. The engine is one of two  that he found that were brand new and had never been started since they left the factory. He also has an early Harley XR750 frame that he was given that he is putting an iron head 61 inch (1000cc) engine in for use as a street bike. The little Indian is street legal too.

The donor bike for the engine is the chopper behind the XR.

Where did he snag the JR Scout motors..

754: He is taking the engine from the chopper in the picture to go into the XR frame. Your right, the forks are Ceriani"s.
Yes the El Camino Show was great, I've been for the last 5 years and I always enjoy it. I'll post a link to my pix tomorrow.
