F2 into K5
« on: July 10, 2006, 01:15:40 AM »
Is it possible to turn a F2 into a K5? I have access to a F2 (minus body panels and mag wheels) and have always wanted a K5, and thought this might be a good option for this incomplete bike. If yes/no, what are the pitfalls?
Any help with this question would be greatly appreciated.

Well the frame's are different mate, and really, there are a lot of differences in the engines too, of course if you found a K5 rolling chassis the F2 engine would slot straight in, but you don't have all that much to work with, why not just find a K5? Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Born in Melbourne, now living in Sydney. Looking for a cheap basket case bike to play with while I'm unemployed, to keep my mind sane! Thanks for your help.
