There is a new book out by John Stein on the history of motorcycle drag racing. This is one of those large coffee table books. Very well done with lots of photos and info.

Having been around for much of it, I can state, that Mr. Stein did his homework on this.

Lots of photos of the RC fuelers, etc.

This is a must for all serious drag fans.

 IS THAT  Leo Payne on the cover ? Do you remember when Rawslaski was testing his bike near his shop (on the street), and bit the big one...

 nice looking book, hope I get to check it out..soon..

Yes that is Leo. I did not know Sonny personally, but heard about it when he was killed.
