It says that Kaw did not want to call attention to the bikes, so they painted them like 750's including tank decals that say "Honda" for testing at Talladega.

Back in 1971-72 Kawasaki probably had several prototype test bikes around the US besides Talladega, here’s another example:

isn't it funny how many honda parts actually fit on a kawasaki including exhaust points master cylinder etc....
