Final driven shaft bearing removal
« on: December 19, 2011, 03:02:08 PM »
Hey gang. I'm almost ready to sandblast my engine, as it is close to a complete teardown. Two things are still sticking in the base: the bearing ball of the final driven shaft, and the gear shift drum. I found the removal procedure for the latter one trough the search function, but had no such luck on how to remove the bearing balls. I'm talking about part #12. Use force? Can I re-use the bearings after removal?

I just use a wooden dowel to tap it out from the right side.  It shouldn't hurt the bearing.
