POLL: Member of the Year
« on: December 19, 2011, 06:37:06 PM »
All of these members have contributed to this virtual club of ours.

Glenn has spent his time building this site from a small Greenspun utility to a well designed highly functional site. No one can deny his contribution. I was here in the Greenspun days and fellas this is another World.

Jerry organized the Round the World Rally which worked. I was a Regional Coordinator and it was a pain in the ass. I can imagine herding this group through North America.

Ofreen is the Iron Butt to end all Iron Butts. He rode an amazing amount of miles to make the Rally a success. He is quite a writer and photographer.

Old School is Cool got us on the web, his skills gave exposure to this Rally. Without his skill this thing of ours would have been the tree that fell in the forest with no one to hear it.

This is a blind poll that will last 10 days. You cannot see the results until the end to avoid the "herd" syndrome.

Give it some thought and vote within the next 10 days.

This of course is unofficial, but I think these folks need some recognition. We honor Bikes, it is fitting we honor people.

Feel free to comment, but the actual results are blind till it ends.

Seems to me that Glen is more than a member of the year.

Jerry's idea and organizational skills made the Rally a huge success.

Honorable mention to the hot blondes above and Bobby who brings them to us!

It changed my setting. You should not be able to see after you have voted. I can;t set it blind now.

Helmets off to all mentioned. I cant vote on this. It just doesnt seem fair. Its not a competition, but they all deserve recognition for their efforts this past year! Great job to all. The relay was a highlight held together by all the candidates.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!
