Maybe it was a good deal.
I looked at one like that recently.  It looked good in the CL photos but it had been outside too long.
The whole bike was pitted & oxidized and all the rubber was shot. Under the seat was horrible.
Would have needed a TOTAL restore/rebuild.

  Yea  Retro R ,  That's my luck lately.       I'm looking for a complete basket case.  I'm gonna build a 1326 cc
  prostreet  KZ .  I have a special crank, turbo pistons, 1984 gpz1100 head, complete backcut trans, Webcam-
 turbo profile cams, and a choice of either an A.R.D.magneto or an  R.C angle drive with a Mallory Super -
Magneto III.  I also have a  new old stock ( NOS )  Rajay turbocharger.

          Yes, that happens alot.  Some peoples idea of nice ( or restored )  is waaaay out on the other side of realitiy, especially on EBAY.  They say a picture never lies............BULL$HIT !

Oh, well that's completely different!  In that case, yeah it would have been a steal.
