Flasher Relay Wiring 350F
« on: December 20, 2011, 11:07:19 AM »
So I got my flasher relay and it has two prongs (honda part #38301-KJ6-743) but the wiring diagram shows three wires (Gray/DG/B).  What am I missing here, aside from a prong on the flasher.

Green wire goes to frame ground I think.

The way the wiring diagram looks it appears that the relay itself has three connections, one for each wire coming out of the harness.

I replaced my flasher unit with a cheap one from autozone, and it just takes the two wires.  I grounded the third from the harness back to the frame, but I guess that may have been redundant...

green is extra. Mine just hangs there, no need to ground it to the frame.
