Willing to help toward a good cause.

What I have is an RC 295B 38H cam I salvaged out of an old 750 race block. I picked up a lot of 4 750's and a spare 750 engine about 4 years ago (I kept one 750 and sold the rest). The spare engine was locked so I tore into it. Lo and behold, it was a race block full of RC parts. I've already sold the rest and this is the last remaining part I have from the engine.

In the second pic, there's some slight surface rust on the lobe which accumulated from sitting all these years. I wiped some WD on it for the time being. The rest of the lobes look great. Still a bit dirty overall but I don't have a parts washer with me.

Figure give this an end-time of say, one week from now midnight (my time: US Mountain) on the 16th of January?

Very nice mate, I'll start the bidding with 100 bucks. (USD) Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I'll go $140 on Terry's cam.  I'll also throw in the cost a case of VB for Terry since he's covering the shipping. ;)
I'll also bump the rear set plates to $40.

Seemed like things got a little quiet here, maybe this will spark things up again. ;D

No worries Sam, it's the least I can do.  True, I may not know Brian, but I do really respect him, and that's all I need to know.  To be honest, anyone with any humanity at all can totally relate to his situation.  I'm glad I found all the threads that have been created for Brian.   I'm happy to help all that I can.  Get well soon my friend.

Cheers to you Sam for all of your work organizing the auctions and donation collecting.

Folks, I've been to more than one benefit auction in my day, but unfortunately they were always to help plant someone in the ground. This one is to help someone get back on his feet, hopefully in a literal sense. Items offered for auction do not have to be SOHC, or even motorcycle related; I've seen pocket knives, toy cars, bandanas, trading cards, you name it. With that in mind, next up, a Fat Freddy's Cat comic book.
