ouch, I cut the extender tendon on my middle finger being a Dumass its always bent at a 90" angle now,

Ran my thumb through a planer when I was at university .... instant mist of blood over everything.

Later after thumb was repaired I could tell when my thumb was above or below my heart height wise ...   throb, throb, throb or THROB!!!, THROB!!!, THROB!!!

The brain is funny how it reacts to pain. I know how to make it quit hurting for a while. Take a big hammer and hit your big toe as hard as you can with shoe off then your finger will not hurt near as much ;D
 To get blood flow back to the finger swing your arm round and round as fast as you can for a few minutes ;D

I don't know that I would have had the presence of mind to photograph it. :o  Last week I sliced a small section off the side of my thumb beside the fingernail and it was just hanging by a little bit.  Flopped it back over and stuck a bandaid on.  Looks like it reattached. :)

Wiping your butt can be tricky as well... ;D  On a more serious note, a friend of mine has a big scar across his chest from working on a running V8 engine wearing a loose fitting flannelet shirt, it caught up in the fan and dragged him into the engine bay where the fan tried to excavate his chest cavity... Be careful guys....

man ive been lucky,ive just touched my fingers into the old steel direct drive fans once or twice and only a spilt nail,,so i rushed down to my nail technition,who told me to get screwed,..

...amerikkka...this guy i worked with....stuck his finger where it shouldn't have been...beneath a 120psi pneumatic clamp...nipped the tip of his finger right off and that lil' mofo got sucked right up by the dust colllector...tested positive for marijuana...have not seen him since...he was a hard worker and a good guy...

also someone mentioned why i took a pic well it was crazy cool and i had to facebook it and txt like 10 friends who wanted to see it  ;D

but ya fingers are good!!! wiping my ass kinda sucks though its now a slow tedious process..... and i bartended tonight and it just didnt work lol. filling out all my shifts to let my finger rest  :P

Dave, Ive never been able to spell that.  Anyone have any insight.
Xsmooth take some advil to keep the swelling down. Prevent pain rather than cover it up with pain meds

I did the whole chain + sprocket + thumb = no fun last year. Motor was not running, so just lost the nail. It grew back!

Ouch! Not as bad as the idiot in the CBR forum who put his bike on a stand, lubed the chain and then wrapped a rag around his fingers and wiped the excess oil off, along with ALL of the fingers on his right hand down to the first knuckle. Now that had to be the single most stupid thing that I have ever seen done, other than the email I got this week. it showed a guy with a rifle shooting at cans, misfire and then look down the barrel of the gun!!! It went off, blowing a hole in the bill of his baseball hat.
