What the heck is this?

Bought this animal today. A hondamatic trike. Engine is loose and tank is good but haven’t tried to start it. It did come with the parts to convert it back but thought everyone might enjoy looking at it. 1976. 14k miles.

Has back brakes on the Mickey Thompsons (sp). Needs a battery put in at least but need to look over more.

That's very cool!
The "A" is good choice for a trike set up, although it probably takes a bit of torque to get those wheels turning.
Is is a kit or a custom conversion?

That is cool, and it kept a lucky guy out in the wind for a few years longer.
Is there a date code on any of the tires? Last registration date?
Good score.

I was told it was a kit done in the early 80s and was expensive Thanks for the comments. I will look at the tires when I get out there again. Need to clean up the carbs.

That's some fabulous work! Those rear tires' width might make for interesting handling in the mountains?
How solid are those swingarm bushings? Maybe some bronze ones would help if it wiggles too much.
