Speedometer reading with an 18" front wheel on a CB750?
« on: August 10, 2013, 11:01:47 PM »
Hey all,

I'm thinking of putting an 18" wheel on the front of my CB750 and am curious as to how to get the speedometer to read correctly?  Can I swap the speedometer drive from a smaller CB that uses an 18" front wheel as standard?

Check with a GPS that is std equipment of today.
I will when I do not trust the Speed reading anyway despite OEM wheel. My car show +5/10% too much depending on summer or winter wheels. Std wheel show most. I need to know exact due to cops and their laser toys.

(Now PC, corrected text written on my stupid phone)
