Exhaust wrap

What is the point of wrapping your headers with that crap? Looks like the bike is just out of hospital with a broken arm or something.  ;D
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

my headers had a dent that would still be visible with blasting and -ceramic coating ($175)
header wrap ($50) was a no-brainer.

I understand if it's to cover some cosmetic damage and you can't afford a repair but it seems to be de rigueur for most these days.

I also had dents and the exhaust looked like crap.  It is also great for preventing burns.  No appreciable performance gains.  I used  black header wrap and it fits the overall appearance of the bike well.

It is a pain and time consuming but it is a valid and sensible option for someone who doesn't want to put money into an entirely new exhaust system.

a broken arm that's funny! my purpose for it is strictly cosmetic, plus the potential buyers think it's real cool.
