how do I test coils on cb550?
« on: August 13, 2016, 10:26:22 AM »
Ok,
I'm frustrated. cclinder 1 has no spark, but other 3 are ok. Cut back wire on # 1 and still nothing. How do I test to see if the coil itself is bad?

The procedure to test the coil is in the shop manual. You'll need a multimeter with an Ohm setting.
