i see the rear rubber cush drive is discontinued for the 500 on the david silvers site,anyone know where they might be able to be found anywhere else?its a two piece rubber affair per drive lug,ill try some 550 ones i have here,they are joined by a strip.

Could be wrong, but they look similar to those on the CB750. Perhaps others know if the two bikes shared similar hubs.

I haven't had my rear wheel out for a while, but from memory they are joined too? I have been wrong once before.......... ::) :D

yeah this pair look identical apart from the umbilical cord bit and the lack of the spear barb on the locating spikes.

Is it all possible that the joining bit could be cut off without compromising the cush effect?

the joined pair came from a 550 hub,must be some kind of improvment,itll have less part numbers aswell?ill try it out and see,im getting a new rear tyre so i did the shoes aswell,there seemed to be a bit of wobble in the carrier even though the ring nut was tight,backlash seemed non existant.
