carb question.
« on: January 27, 2014, 02:23:04 PM »
Been searching far and wide for some help with my carb woes. So... my bike is currently unmodified and was thinking of getting some rs-34-minkuni to mount and carry me thru to a big bore and/or cam changes I might do. Will these carbs set to fit my bike by ken, run well on a stock setup? I know my pd carbs won't handle a big bore kit so I think I will just sell them. Any help would be appreciated.ty

What bike? The 34mm is a mighty big carb for these engines. Heck, the intake valve isn't even that big on the 750...it's only 32mm, minus the stem area to boot!

Sorry.1977 cb750f2.  Cycle x has a modified  minkuni to fit the sohc. I have decided to keep my stock carbs and add some velocity stacks. Those carbs, and there price dont work for me just yet.
