Let shoot for the first of July. I will send $40.00-$50.

Then anybody that needs one will have time to budget in the money.

I am now thinking it may be easier to just use the mount plate from a 1972 CB750 and just cut off the throttle shaft mounts. I am the only one that seems to want one.

It would be stronger and it does not need those  two semi circular cut outs on the bottom edge.

That may work. I think the originals should be preserved as they will be needed for restos.
The original has some thin areas that are quite weak, taking them on or off hardened rubbers is asking for breakage.
Just let me know if you want to proceed, think a local member is needing one..

I knew some members would be upset about me hacking up a good spare part.

Go ahead with your plans, I promise to send you $50.00 on July 1st anyway.
PM me your Paypal address. Thanks LUCKY.

I am not in a hurry to hack up that 1972 mounting plate . I will wait.

BTW.. Did you get any other members to make a commitment?
