Newbie in Richmond, Va.
« on: December 14, 2006, 07:02:16 PM »
Hey everyone. I am the proud owner of a 78' CB750F with a little over 9000 miles. I will be the third owner and my father was the second owner.

He purchased the bike a few years ago from a friend of the family and it has been mostly parked in his garage in that time. He has his Harley that he rides on a regular basis so the Honda hasn't seen much action. I have tried to purchase it from him on a few occasions but for some reason he didn't want to part with it. A few days ago I was looking at another Honda and was asking his advice when he told me that I could have the 750. WOW!!

The only thing the bike will cost me is the price of fuel from Richmond, Va. to Kentucky so I think I got the best deal of all. Hey, I'm going to his house next weekend anyway so why not.

The condition of the bike is excellent. It could use a tune-up and a little cleaning but it is ready to go. The tires are near new and the body and chrome are in very nice condition.

This is a great site with a wealth of information. I will post some pics when I get it home so I can show off my new baby.

Welcome to the board.

What a great acquisition, from your dear pop no less.

Very cool.

Ride safe. Try not to smoke him on his harley  ;)
