SOHC/4 newbie

Hello.
Just bought a CB550k 77 for almost nothing. I haven't done any biking for the last 30 years but thought that I would do an restauration of this old beauty. It has been standing unused for allmost 10 years but the engine is not stuck. PO had an accident and stopped using her. Fortuntely the frame and engine is ok.

PO has done a lot of "redecoration" so she needs a lot to be done before she is as I remeMber the CB550 - the dream machine of my youth - small, powerfull and beautiful.

My goal is to do a restauration of her during the wet and cold winter months here in Denmark. If i'm successfull i might get her running for the summer. I am presently collecting original parts for her to get the project going.

I will propably have a lot of questions on the SOHC/4 forums as I get on.
'77 CB550K Technical rebuild done and riding. Cosmetics must wait till winter
'78 CB550K3 beautifull but engine needs rebuild.

Welcome. Good luck with the restoration. Take some pics of it in it's current state (whether you post them or not) so you can better appreciate the before and after look and all the work you put into it.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.
