Greetings From So.Cal

Hi All,
Glad to have found your site as I just purchased a 1971 CB500 on Craigs list that needs some TLC.  The origional owner converted it to a chopper, I am converting it back to stock.  I purchased this bike as a non runner for 700.00 and was not totally surprised to hear interesting engine noises when I got it  running 25 years later.  It is a very clean runner, but needs some minor engine work.  I have been working on bikes for 30 years, but this is the first in-line 4 in the garage.  My ultimate goal is to have her ready for the 250 mile vintage ride which happens once a year in the Santa Barbara mountains in November, so looking forward to meeting and asking the honda guru's a question or two.
thanks !   Dave

yes,  I will be selling the extended forks, special fork ears for these tubes, outer fork tubes and possibley the sissybar type seat.
I am currently looking for a stock seat and right side (battery cover).
