Well, my current plan is to turbo my '81 650
. Hardware is planned as a T2 or so turbo, ball bearing if cost permits with an intercooler and pressure relief. I've already got my CV carbs planning on a blow through setup, i believe that all i need to do is provide the vacuum signal from the turbo air inlet where i'd get the best and most accurate source, and route the fuel bowl vents to boost so it can push fuel under boost. Wide band o2 with a custom header and probably a dump pipe. Oil lines, i have heard that a scavenge pump is needed but i would like some advice on the ins and outs of this. I will be making an air manifold. Maybe a thicker head gasket to lower compression but boost will be relatively low, 5-8 psi or so. I would REALLY appreciate as much info and advice as anyone would be willing to give. This is in the planning phase and i am trying to get my ducks in a row then take my time and do this as well as possible. Thanks everybody!
