Yes...I think. I'm not one of these guys that can smell a tank (blindfolded) and know which year make and model and who manufactured it...but I can say that the second picture looks better, by far imo, than the first. The first, original I'd assume, makes the bike look almost dorky..for lack of a better word.

The 500t tank doesn't look too bad.
Gives it a more "Euro" look imho.

That GB500T tank is so valuable and rare I would sell it for other parts that you may need.
Just beat in the sides of the original tank.

Or maybe it is an extremely rare GB500T tank, a little known variant on the CB500T tank? ::)

The first pic, the stock tank.. has the rear been lifted?? looks like its goiung a bit downhill.
The T tank looks good on there, the first tank would look better with the rear lowered.

Sounds like I'm going against the grain, but I'd take the first tank.

I really like the look of the 500t. IMO, one of the best looking stock tanks honda ever made. I am going to put one on my cb450.

BTW, love the GB500TT.

The 500T looks great with the Knee Indents.  You could do the same to the 500 (4) tank as well.  Its not that hard to do.  Look around on how to do it on this site.

Someone photoshop that T tank green and see what it looks like. The first tank certainly doesn't sit as nice.

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

I'm sure whatever tank he uses - it will sit level.

But, IMO I think I'd go with the CB500T tank.   The angular indents look more appropriate somehow.   Also - looks like the width of that T tank is narrower at the rear than the stock tank.     Probably line up better with the seat pan - look more intentional.

Gonna keep things green ?   Kinda dig it.  Don't see much green.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.
