I raced my YSS shocks out of the box last season and the other one of them started to leak before the last race. They worked fine just the way they were other than the small leak.
I sent them to guy I bought them from and asked him to fix the problem and add some rebound damping, he shimmed them and it made all the difference...

 My times @ 1/4 improved almost 0,2 seconds after the upgrade and the bike handles perfectly.

I've got YSS's on the 550, work great.  Thinking about putting them on the sidecar, but would need x4, so it gets expensive.
