only on the out side of each big end assembly. They machined off about .250 per half of the counter weights (

and left the in side alone (Between the con rods)
I was more concerned about getting the balancing part perfect
and keeping it plenty strong
This is the same application that Brian at livingood motor sports use when he builds his road race motors
and has never had a crank fail
Also the nitride coating makes the crank look dull so its not quite as pretty as your cranks
