Hey guys
Are there any good oil temp gauges on the market that I can tie into the oil drain plug?
or where the oil pressure gauge goes
Bill uses a system from Daytona products but I don't like the digital gauge
more of an old school kind of guy

A 'Google' for 'oil temperature gauge' will give you lots of choices.  You could also tie it into the fitting for the turbo oil supply.

One of the hoses goes to the boost gauge and the other goes to the waste gate
The oil pulled in from the main oil galley behind the cylinder where the oil sensor goes
its a special manifold that has 2 openings
goes in to the turbo and then gets dumped into the clutch cover where the other line is
I cant wait to here it also
getting close but the wiring harness needs to be made and then the ignition programed

Another thought as to where to take oil temp - on the return side from the cooler.  You don't show it any of your pictures, but I assume your using a filter/cooler adapter plate.  A 'T' connector at the adapter would work.  Maybe something like one of these?? - http://aeroquip.cc/aeroquipantopipepressuregaugeadapters.aspx

Are the VDO auto gauges like that weather resistant enough for MC use?  Up under a fairing windshield would give them some protection of course.

I know no one likes to get into the rain unexpectedly
but I am not sure if the gauges are waterproof or not
need to look in to that.
but if there is the slightest chance of rain then the bike stays
in a clement controlled basement under lock and key.................yeah right
well not under lock an key
I guess I will have to ride the thing and worry about the weather later

I finally have oil pressure today.................when they say soak the oil pump (And I did)
but what they don't tell you is (And if I built these motors I would have found out)
you have to open the pop off valve (Thats in the pump) that feeds the engine and hold it open until you flood
that side of the oil pump with oil
then release and install the pump, install the oil pan (Don't forget the drain plug)
fill oil tank and turn the engine over for a min or two (Not all at once)
we now have about 30 PSI showing on the oil pressure gauge when I spin the motor over (I am glad I used a good assembly lube)

about time

next step is to get the ignition box hook to 12 volts and check for spark

getting very close to cranking
