Nice Stev-o!  I've got an itch for a 400f myself.  All those bikes look like great projects, especially that Valley Green (another favorite color of mine)  Is that some kind of bronze color on one of those, or did it just sit outside for a long time?

No, not bronze, almost looks like it was gold way back when. And yes, it was sitting covered outside for the past year or so.

The story is the three bikes were owned by the seller's brother that died in bike accident. Sad.

It's been about 2 years since the Mother Lode.   The K8 was a great bike but only put about 500 miles on it since getting it.  The Z1 has been getting the seat time so it was time to sell the K8 rather than just let it sit.  Went to a good home......sayonara...

With 5 other CB750's, I'll be ok.  But that was the only one in excellent, original, unrestored cond.

Unfortunately, I am just like you.   :-[
Once I bring a complete POS back from the grave and have worked out all of the bugs and am riding it,
I tend to look closer at complete POS's that are collecting dust and pick one to bring back from death.
I am currently eye-balling the forks/triple trees from an '86 GS550ES and the rims from a '84 GPZ750A to make fit on the '74 GT185 project.
I am even looking at the mono-shock swing-arms/shocks from the 750 and 550's. Hmmm...
"Crazy enough that it will work!" (<my motto)   :D
