I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Looks like middle of April.  It should only be ~95° to 100° by then... ::)

I should be able to ride around Texas a bit this year. :)

Really - you have 2 months, start planning.

CR - It will only be 90 by then, no problem!  I would like to ride the Fredericksberg - Johnson City - Llano - Marble Falls this year.
This area got missed last year due to time restraints.

Justin in Lubbock has signed on, I will see if we can get him to ride this way with 'zilla this year.
Does anyone know his screen name? [there are a few Justins]

Relay Map reflects updated (proposed) dates:

http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=101662.0

Turns out some of the dates were out of sequence, and I fixed the fact that ALL of the dates fell on WEDNESDAY...

All of the dates on the map now fall on Saturday, which meant backing up the dates by four days. Look it over and let me know what you think!

Count me IN.  We had a great group from Houston last year.  I'll see if any/all and then some would be interested in Relay 2.0

I can throw another party/get-together in Houston for anyone who cares to come - Relay rider of not, all are welcome.

Sounds great!

Consider coming up to Austin again for a weekend for a Hill Country ride and camp night, then 'zilla could head back w/you to H-town?
And then on to Dallas??
Looks like we have more time than last year so this could be better!

The planned route is whatever works for you.  However, I have been asked to try to OK after Dallas, since it will be so close.
No rider from LA has signed on yet, so you are really needed.
How much time do you have? Hook up with us for the Hill Country ride west of Austin if you can swing it!

Hell yeah! You're getting quite a good turnout of Texas riders!

Spike (j4hfr34k),
Between you, poboy, and kpier883, y'all could be an important link between Team Southwest and Team Southeast Coastal! Bluto will likely be leading the charge for riders in the Atlanta area.

I'll be in touch.  8)

I am definitely planning to meet up with the group out west, before heading into Houston.  Maybe part of the route heading to Austin could include the Three Sisters ride near San Antonio.  It's been on my to-ride list for a while.  Many bike folks say this hundred-mile loop is the best ride in the state.

AKA The Twisted Sisters!  Also on my ride list, but look at the map, not sure how we would fit this in? [2 hours NW of SA and 3-4 SW of Aus].

Not shooting it down, but need to see how/if it fits.
I know of some similar roads within 1 hour of Austin.
