Topic: I think my gas tank is no good now??

i am usally a calm sensible person..but... if the person that did this will not pay to fix it i would take him out back and take it out of his hide!! no true excuse for stupid. i have seen these latches on flea bay..they are not non existant. as far as powder coating a tank..cool idea, never thought of that one. guess powder caoting is just another form of paint so to speak.

I'm just hopeing they pay for the repair.

Did you hear if they were able to get the latch off yet and if so are they going to find you a replacement or is it up to you ?

I took it to rerun this Honda shop... The guy has a ton of old hondas in shop. He's a bit slow but I know he has good reputation on work.( he's an older guy). He said its possible ..give him few days and he will get to it and try. He was pretty upset himself ... He couldn't understand why it was so Damn hot. I said man I just bring stuff in and what needs to be removed I should be told from a professional ....I at least think that's the right thing to do .  Anyways yea I'm gonna call on Monday see what's up with the tank.  The manager said he wants to sit and talk face to face about what we can do to meet an agreement I guess.
