Not too long ago, our own aviation companies tried to cramp down on plastic model companies on producing scale planes of their products THAT WAS PAID BY OUR OWN TAXES.
It seem like the new guys on American Honda don't want anything to do with the products that Mr. Honda himself produced. That's why I guess I don't have any new Hondas built after 1983, even though I still own more than 20 of the classic Hondas. Fortunately reproducing the tank striping on early CB750, 500, 450 and 350s are not as tough as the 1972 Kawasaki tank graphics.
Since American Honda got rid of all their NOS parts from classic Hondas some years back, (although they're now offering expensive stuff themselves like the original CB750 pipes), I'm thankful that there are good aftermarket guys that often makes superior reproductions of the parts no longer on their lists than the originals. Until they can offer better NOS parts themselves (cheaper, I hope), they should quit wasting money on expensive lawyers, and offer better service like the original Honda people and just leave good things alone!
