Case split, what to look for?

My pistons were rusty so on the advice of ekpent and chewbacca5000 I split my case to see what the bottom end looks like. Here's the original thread if you want the background.

The rods are definitely rusty, but the bearing is not. This is my first time doing something like this so I don't know what I'm looking for. Can I clean up the rods and start putting it back together or can anyone see any other issues? Is there something else I need to look for?
Thanks

Look at the wristpins and journals to see if there is any rust and metal galling.
Also check you bearings for rust.
Good luck
