Will a 79 650 tank fit on a 81 650C .  The petcocks are interchangable but are the tanks?

I don't think the seats line up the same. My bro is looking to buy a 79 tank if you know about one. Call Mitch in NY days  516-379-3287

If it is a true 81 and 79 the petcocks are not the same.  The 79 tank is longer so the rear mount wont bolt up and the seat will need modification.
