Tool for mixture setting

This is another method for setting the mixture as described in the Clymers workshop manual Section  SIX.  Lucky

Do exactly as it says and use this tool.
It reads to 1 rpm!!!
You will get excellent results.
It is easier with a second person to read the numbers to you.
It works VERY well.
The tool costs about $ 47.00

The product web site and some amazon reviews say its not meant for MC applications, only automotive. Have you actually used this yourself on a CB750?
In deeper than I should be...

Yes, I used it myself. No problem.

Autos have 4 cylinder engines.

On the end of the tool where it clamps onto the spark plug wire there is a white arrow and that arrow is supposed to point towards the spark plug. The instrutions do not tell you that, but it does show a drawing.

Just use #1 or #4 because they are easier to get to.

I wanted add that it works best on the @1 plug wire with DYNA ignition.
