« on: March 13, 2012, 02:33:41 PM »
Hi Guys and Gals

First of all,  this i my first thread ever after I have been following all your great projects for years now.
I finally got inspired to start one my self!

So I took my everyday bike which have been standing in rain and snow all winter. And now is it's time to shine!!!

I hope you will follow this thread and maybe at times help me out with your vast amount of knowledge.

And sorry for my spelling, I am after all from Denmark.

DAY TWO

All in all after two intense working nights in cold Copenhagen I finaly got the bike in pieces and cant wait to modify it into one hell of a cool looking bike!

Anyhow, there is, and will be more bumps in the road as you all know.

I took it all apart, but I can't get the stering stem buttom out of the bike.
I have been trying to hit it with a rubber/plastic Mallet - but it won't budge..! Shouldn't it just slide out of the frame? Or am I doing it wrong?

So i bought some new parts for the bike - including this Wrenchmonkees gorilla style seat!
Made from fiberglas, pretty easy to work with... but!! It is a bit crooked.

But even though I spend the day trying to make it fit and made some brackets for mounting of the seat.
